Welcome to ImagynX Academy! (Demo)
Hello! Welcome to ImagynX Academy and our Web and Graphic Design Program! Before you begin, please take a moment to watch this welcome video to the left.
My name is Rita Ramen, and I’m excited to be your instructor. I bring experience from running my own web and graphic design business, along with professional roles in digital marketing and administration. I hold certificates in Web and Graphic Design from Stenberg College, a Certificate in Adult Education from UBC, a Google Digital Marketing certification, and Microsoft Office credentials, as well as a Diploma in Digital Media Arts.
I am looking forward to getting to know each of you and supporting your journey in this program. Let’s get started with your first assignment!
Assignment 1: Introduction Activity
To help us get to know one another and start building our learning community, your first task is to post a short introduction.
Instructions:
Create simple selfie video (it can be casual—no need for anything formal) and give us a brief introduction about yourself to post in the Intro Forum that includes:
Your name
A little bit about your background
Why you joined this program
One fun or interesting fact about yourself
This activity helps us create a supportive, friendly space as we begin learning together. I’m looking forward to meeting each of you—feel free to be creative and have fun with it!
Assignment 2: ImagynX LMS (Learning Portal)
ImagynX Learning Portal is your central hub for everything you will need in this program. In this assignment, you will explore the tools, resources, and learning supports available to you throughout the course.
Your tasks:
Take some time to navigate through the ImagynX Learning Portal.
Click through each section, including:
Course materials
Project resources
Templates and examples
English support and practice tools
Digital marketing and design guides
Once you’ve explored the portal, write a short reflection (3–5 sentences) in the Assignment 2 Forum that answers:
What did you discover inside the portal?
Which resources will be most helpful for you?
Is there anything you want to learn more about?
This activity helps you become comfortable with the tools you’ll use every day in this program.
Take your time, explore, and get familiar with your new learning space — you’ll be returning here often!
